In Car And Driver's Six-Sedan Comparison Test, How Does The 2022 Honda Civic Rank?

Famous for harsh critiques and exhaustive testing regimens, Car And Driver's comparison tests are vital reading for car shoppers. In the magazine's October 2021 edition, Car And Driver conducted its biggest sedan comparison test in years by pitting the new 11th-generation 2022 Honda Civic Touring against five rivals: 2021 Toyota Corolla XSE, 2021 Nissan Sentra SR, 2021 Hyundai Elantra Limited, 2021 Volkswagen Jetta SEL Premium, and 2021 Mazda 3 Premium.

Remember, this is a U.S. publication, so some of the model names and pricing/equipment are a bit different from what we see in Canada. The results, however, aren't subject to change.

The 2022 Honda Civic is the segment leader. Top of the class. King of small cars. Number one.

Why?

Here are just some of the reasons Car And Driver fell for the Civic... again. You can read the entire comparison test here.
