Honda Canada's CR-V Hybrid Lineup For The 2024 Model Year

For the first time in the model's Canadian history, Honda brought the CR-V Hybrid to the market as the range-topping model in the all-new, sixth-generation 2023 lineup. The CR-V Hybrid was available exclusively as a Touring model – in fact, you couldn't have the Touring any other way – while the LX, Sport, and EX-L were fitted with Honda's 1.5-liter turbo.
Let's be clear: the CR-V LX, CR-V Sport, and CR-V EX-L were very fuel efficient SUVs. All-wheel-drive versions are rated at 7.6 L/100km in highway driving.
But the CR-V Hybrid operated at another level with city ratings of 6.0 L/100km and a 6.9 L/100km highway rating. Better yet, the CR-V Hybrid offers more power, as well: 204 horsepower and 247 lb-ft of torque.
2024 broadens Honda Canada's CR-V Hybrid offerings. The 2024 Honda CR-V EX-L will be available both with the regular 1.5-liter engine and the battery-electric/gas hybrid combo that previously required you to step up to the Touring. Switching to the EX-L Hybrid involves a $2,000 step-up but saves $3,500 compared with the Touring Hybrid.
The 2024 Honda CR-V EX-L Hybrid is still remarkably well equipped:

- power front seats
- heated front/rear seats
- heated steering wheel
- power tailgate
- front and rear parking sensors
- 18-inch Berlina black alloys
- 9-inch centre screen with wireless Apple CarPlay
The 2024 Honda CR-V will continue to be assembled right here in Canada. Expect the 2024 CR-V to begin appearing on the lot at Centennial Honda early this summer.
